Easy Chocolate Chip Nutella Drop Cookies for when you want a quick dessert recipe to make with 6 ingredients. These cookies are eggless, and will almost melt in your mouth.
First week of March Break!
I am here in Vancouver, relaxing my butt off and getting more sleep in the past two days than I had last week.
Yup. Vacations do me well.
But one thing I can’t give up while on holiday is baking. And, of course, Nutella. So why don’t we combine those two loves of mine, shall we?
These Chocolate Chip Nutella Drop Cookies are LIFE! They are so easy to make, and are ready from start to finish in 15 minutes. Because I know that even people on full time relaxation mode will have at least 15 minutes to spare.
These cookies are very similar to my Nutella Drop Cookies that I made AGES ago. I make them so often that I thought I needed to give them a revival on the blog. With a small twist: chocolate chips.
Because I am under the belief that adding chocolate chips to your favourite baking recipes makes them 10x better.
These cookies almost taste like shortbread cookies. They crumble and melt in your mouth in the same way, but with the addition of Nutella, it puts your regular shortbread cookies to shame. And the chocolate chips add a delightful crunch into your cookies that I can’t get enough of.
I was originally going to make these cookies for my students, but then I remembered that these may not be nut free. Since I can’t bring anything with nuts into our school, me and John had to keep all of these cookies for ourselves.
And they didn’t last long. At all.
These cookies might just be my new go-to cookie recipe. Because they are super quick and easy to make, but also because they taste oh so good! I am looking forward to making these many more times this month. Scratch that. Many more times this week!

I love fast cookies like this, I hate having to wait for the dough to chill and relax. If I am making cookies its because I want to eat them, like now not in 3 hours after the gluten has relaxed!!! Awesome recipe 😀

So true!! Whenever a recipe calls for chilling the dough, I think: skip!

I have already tried your first batch before I started eating vegan – but then again, you can get vegan chocolate and hazelnut spread 🙂 I remember that they were gone within two days, Kev and I scoffed them! 😀 But yes, I can imagine chocolate chips working great in them <3
And happy holidays! I hope you make the most/as little of it as possible depending on how much sleeping you'll be doing XD Have a fantastic one! xx
