Quick and easy Raspberries and Cream Oatmeal recipe. I love making this in the summer with fresh raspberries and whipping cream.
Tail end of berry season things:
- spend afternoon in grocery store trying to find good (enough) berries
- buy berries and eat most on the way home
- put the rest of the berries on oatmeal
Repeat daily.
My thoughts are that everyone should have at least one good berry oatmeal in their breakfast arsenal. Something to make when you only have a handful of berries left in the fridge.
Of course, if you are as indecisive as me, you may need around 8 of these recipes. A favourite berry and figs oatmeal, the bakerita inspired berry peanut butter oats or my forever extra banana split oatmeal to name a few of my favourites that go on rotation in the summer months.
Now I’m adding this Raspberries and Cream Oatmeal to the mix. Total game changer.
Fresh raspberries in this recipe are a must in this recipe. I tried it with frozen, and it just wasn’t the same.
Whipping cream on top is also totally optional, but I love the look of it on the fresh raspberries. Plus, it is a great way to use up extra whipping cream you may have lying around your fridge. Because I can never think of recipes to make with those extra drops of whipping cream!
The best thing about this oatmeal, or any of the other oatmeal recipes I have mentioned above is that they are surprisingly filling. One bowl of this oatmeal in the morning will keep you full until lunch. Now that is what I call breakfast for champions!

Looks delicious, I love having yogurt with raspberries or strawberries and a bit of granola sprinkled on top or raspberries or strawberries with cottage cheese but this would be good choice too!
