Quick and easy Cookies and Cream Oatmeal recipe. A decadent breakfast idea that tastes like dessert. Topped with Oreo cookies and yogurt.
I am always asking myself when I will go too far with my oatmeal recipes. Will I ever reach a point where it is so over the top that no one will want to even TRY making it?
I thought maybe it would be my Birthday Cake Oatmeal. But maybe not.
Maybe this Cookies and Cream Oatmeal takes the cake.
What do you need to make this Cookies and Cream Oatmeal?
You are 5 ingredients away from making this oatmeal. All you need is:
- milk
- oats
- chia seeds
- vanilla yogurt
- Oreos
That’s it!
I ate this Cookies and Cream Oatmeal for breakfast this morning. And the morning before. And I am not even ashamed.
Okay, maybe a little bit.
My reasoning? I am moving out of this place in around 2 months and I need to use up all of the food I have in here.
And what do I find in the back of my pantry? A whole bunch of Oreo cookies is what!
Not that I am complaining. Because I am definitely not complaining! But for some reason, I don’t want to be the one sitting at home, eating Oreo cookies straight from the container.
Making a recipe with it somehow seems a lot more acceptable to me.
So anyone out there who is STILL not convinced that oatmeal is the best invention out there, make this Cookies and Cream Oatmeal! Maybe an extremely over the top recipe is just what you need to join my little cult obsession with oatmeal.

I would happily be the one eating oreos out of the cupboard but using them in oatmeal is perfectly acceptable to me. Because from my viewpoint, this makes the oreo calorie free as the oatmeal makes this healthy. Just sayin’
