This Eggnog Oatmeal recipe is perfect for the holidays! Quick and easy to make, this would make a perfect breakfast for Christmas!
It’s finally that time of the year!
Halloween is over, so now stores are selling all of my favourite Christmas flavours.
Bring on the Egg Nog! I have been waiting all year for this.
So.. I have made recipes on my blog with Egg Nog before.
Usually, I would link those recipes here so that you can try them out yourself. But I’m thinking… not today.
It was so long ago that I made those recipes, and the photos are SO bad. I will probably go back and rephotograph them in the future, but until then.. let’s just pretend that this Eggnog Oatmeal is my one and only Egg Nog recipe.
If you really want a laugh, go search “eggnog” in my search bar. Hey, we all started somewhere.
You all probably saw this recipe coming a mile away. Not only is it an oatmeal recipe: my favourite thing to eat ever, it also combines my favourite holiday flavour into the mix.
As soon as Halloween is over, I beeline it to my local grocery store to a) buy cheap Halloween candy and b) to stock up on the eggnog while it’s here!
I have more eggnog in my fridge than I can handle at the moment, so you can BET that I will be baking with it soon!
This recipe is so comforting. The creaminess of the eggnog makes this oatmeal so thick and comforting. I now crave this on the colder mornings we have been having lately.
So now that I have so much Egg Nog in the house, I want to ask. Do you have any recipe suggestions? Or are you an Egg Nog hater like my husband?
