Easy Mint Margarita Slushie recipe. This frozen drink idea is perfect on a hot day. A great at home beverage that everyone will love.
How is it only halfway through the week?
Even though it’s Wednesday, I need a drink. This Mint Margarita Slushie had to happen tonight.
One of the great things about this drink is that it is so easy to make. All you need is:
- mint leaves
- tequilla
- simple syrup
- fresh lime juice
- ice
That’s it!
Am I the only one who keeps all of these ingredients in their pantry at all times?
Maybe it’s because of quarantine, but as soon as this thing hit in March, I stocked up on all of the essentials.
Now looking back, it seems like it was mainly alcohol, sugar and of course oats. Is that a weird list? I can’t tell, haha.
Lately, the alcoholic recipes that have been going on repeat around here have been this recipe, and my Empress Gin and Elderflower Tonic.
Based on how lazy I am on a particular day, I will choose which drink to make.
Lazy? I am making the gin and tonic, because less things to clean.
But today? I don’t mind cleaning the blender when I have this drink waiting on the other side.
