It has been a while since I made a smoothie bowl!
The last time I made one was in March with my Mango Blue Smoothie Bowl. And almost 3 months without posting one seems a little too long if you ask me. Especially during the warmer months.
What do you need to make this Chocolate Acai Protein Smoothie Bowl?
This Chocolate Acai Protein Smoothie Bowl is so easy to make, you really have no excuse not to make it. All you need is:
- frozen mangoes
- 1 acai puree packet
- chocolate protein powder
- coconut milk
That’s it!
If you haven’t tried acai packets, try them ASAP! I promise you, you won’t be disappointed.
They have been a lifesaver on busy mornings when I want a quick smoothie bowl and want to pack it with good stuff.
Top it with your favourite toppings and you are good to go! I always top my smoothie bowls with granola because I am always looking for that crunch, but you do whatever you like and/or have on hand. This recipe is very versatile, so change it up depending on your preferences!

Chocolate Acai Protein Smoothie Bowl
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup frozen mango chunks
- 1 packet acai puree (I use Sambazon)
- 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
Instructions
- In a blender, puree all of the ingredients together until smooth. Pour into a bowl and top with desired toppings. Enjoy!
Notes
- You can replace the acai puree with any other frozen berries you have on hand.
- Toppings are essential! Granola is my preference, but try different fruits and nuts on top.
