Easy Halloween Pretzel Monster Eyes recipe. The perfect quick and simple last minute dessert or snack idea.
What is this? Another Halloween pretzel recipe?
Yes, I know that I made some Halloween Chocolate Pretzels a couple of weeks ago, but how cute are these Halloween Pretzel Monster Eyes?? How could I NOT share these?
Whenever I make holiday themed recipes, I will always make them super simple. Because I know that I am not the only one who plans things last minute. If there is a recipe that requires under 5 ingredients, you know that is going to be the recipe that I will be making.
And so these Halloween Pretzel Monster Eyes are perfect for anyone else who does last minute prep work like me.
What do you need to make these Halloween Pretzel Monster Eyes?
You are only 4 ingredients away from making these cute Halloween treats. All you need is:
- wheels pretzels
- Hershey’s hugs
- m&ms
- black food gel
That is it!!
I made these a couple of days ago, and they are already gone. There is no way that I can resist this sweet and salty snack.
Next time I make these, I am going to have to hide them from myself. They are dangerous to be around!

Halloween Pretzel Monster Eyes
Ingredients
- 40 wheels pretzels
- 40 hugs
- 40 m&ms
- black food gel
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°F.
- Place the wheels pretzels on a baking sheet. Place one hug on top of each pretzel.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 5-10 minutes, or until the chocolate is shiny and soft.
- Remove from the oven and quickly place 1 m&m in the centre of each hug. Press down evenly. Repeat with the remaining pretzels.
- Add a dot of black food gel to the centre of each m&m. Allow to cool at room temperature.
- Once cooled, place in an airtight container and store in the fridge.
Notes
- You can make these for any occasion by not adding the black food gel.
