Easy Instant Pot Corn recipe. You are 3 minutes away from corn! The perfect quick and simple side dish for any meal.
Summer isn’t over yet! At least, not according to the calendar. Still plenty of time to make corn.
This Instant Pot Corn might be my new favourite way to make corn. Short on time and need a vegetable to go with dinner? You need this recipe!!
What you need to make Instant Pot Corn
I’m going to say it’s only 1 ingredient, because does water really count?
The ingredients list says water and corn. Obviously, you can spice it up with salt, pepper, butter… whatever you can think of! I like my corn on the plain side, but if you want to play around with toppings, the sky is the limit!
How to choose the best corn
Husk: Look at the husk! Make sure that it’s green in colour and not starting to brown. You should also be aware of any holes in the husk. That could mean that insects have been getting into it!
Tassel: This should not be dry and brown. It should be wet and kind of sticky. It should also smell sweet.
Squeeze it: Not too hard, but hard enough to notice if there are any soft spots in the corn. If there are, move on and choose another ear of corn.

You know, I recently cooked some corn cobs, and wondered if you could do it in an IP. Thanks for the recipe!

This corn came out so perfectly tender. I really liked that this was made in the Instant Pot and didn’t heat the kitchen with a pot of boiling water.
