Easy Iced White Chocolate Mocha recipe. No need for an espresso machine with this coffee shop inspired iced white mocha made with hot coffee.
Cold drinks are not only meant for a hot summer day. Sometimes you crave cold coffee drinks on Christmas morning. When your regular cup of coffee doesn’t feel special enough.
I remember when I was younger, waking up at 5 AM on Christmas morning. Waking up my parents so that we could open presents and look in our stockings. No coffee needed. Just pure excitement and joy of the season. Now as a parent, I look forward to seeing my children have that same excitement for the holidays. But not before I’ve had a little bit of caffeine first.
This Easy Iced White Chocolate Mocha is perfect for busy mornings. The best thing about it is that it’s only made with 5 ingredients, so there is no need to hit up Starbucks on Christmas morning and wait in long lines for a decent cup of coffee. Plus I fully plan on spending my entire day in pajamas, so I don’t even want to think about leaving the house today.
Easy Iced White Chocolate Mocha Ingredients
You just need a couple of simple ingredients to make this iced mocha. All you need is:
- strong brewed coffee
- white chocolate powder
- whole milk
- ice cubes
- whipped cream
That’s it!
Tips & Variations
Making the coffee. Make sure that you make an extra-strong coffee for optimal coffee taste. I have even bought some cold brew coffee concentrate, which works great in this recipe. I love making my coffee in an aeropress, but a french press or a regular drip coffee machine works well too.
Switch up the milk to make it vegan. Personally, I love this iced coffee drink with regular milk, but you can use any type of milk you like! Some non-dairy milk options that taste amazing in this drink are oat milk and almond milk. Almond milk will make the drink a little more watery, so keep that in mind when trying to make a vegan version.
Make it a regular mocha. Don’t like the white chocolate flavor? Try making this iced drink with hot chocolate mix, or even better: dark chocolate mix.
Swap the white chocolate powder for white chocolate syrup or sauce. If you really wanted to up the flavor, you can either buy some white chocolate syrup or make homemade white chocolate sauce. If you wanted to go above and beyond with the white chocolate, try adding some white chocolate shavings on top.
