Easy Apple and Raisin Oatmeal Cookies recipe. This healthy dessert idea is nut free, and perfect for a quick and simple snack.
Apple season, WHO’S READY??
I promised that I would be all about the pumpkin. And I am, I really am. But I’ve got to show apple a little love too. Because as much as I love pumpkin treats, I am also obsessed with apples.
Gotta love the fall flavours. How I missed this time of year.
These Apple and Raisin Oatmeal Cookies are like a hug in cookie form. I love having a couple with my coffee in the morning, or my tea at night.
At all times of the day really. I can’t stop eating these cookies.
I’ve made my fair share of Oatmeal Raisin Cookies before. In fact, I make them at LEAST once a month. But adding apple to them?
Pure genius if you ask me. (Though I may be a tad biased).
What do you need to make these Apple and Raisin Oatmeal Cookies?
It uses pantry staples! All you need is:
- oats
- flour
- baking soda
- cinnamon
- butter
- brown sugar
- egg

I admit the list looks long, but I am sure you have most of those ingredients at home!
While I am still baking up a lot of pumpkin recipes for you all, I know there are a lot of you out there who don’t GET the whole pumpkin thing.
So this is for you. I hope you get the apple thing. Because those are the flavours that I am going to be baking with this fall.
Gotta bake with these flavours while they are in season! What is your favourite fall flavour??

I made these today. They are good, but fall apart easily. I thought at first it was because I didn’t bake them long enough. Baked my second & third batches longer but same problem. I think maybe TWO eggs instead of just one would hold them together better. Would also had a bit more cinnamon next time. Otherwise, very good cookies!

I agree with what she said. Also srcond batch I grated 2 apples rather than diced one and put only a stick of butter and one small 1/2 container of unsweetened applesauce.

Found them way too sweet. 🙁
