Easy Baked Apple Cider Donuts. These delicious donuts combine the best fall flavors, making them the ultimate fall treat.
Don’t be fooled by the pumpkins in the background of these photos. These are not pumpkin donuts. We just went to a pumpkin patch over the weekend so we have an abundance of mini pumpkins. This is also where we bought the best apple cider donuts I have ever tried. I absolutely love fall treats, so I knew that I needed to try to recreate it. So here is my attempt.
These Baked Apple Cider Donuts rival those amazing apple cider donuts we tried at the pumpkin patch. Maybe even better because they are baked donuts, so they are better for you.
Next weekend, we are going to go to a local apple orchard to go apple picking, which means I can stock up on some more apple cider. If you think that I am going to be getting sick of apple cider recipes, you are wrong. You really can’t get too much of a good thing. Making fall desserts will basically be my personality for the next couple of months.

- 3/4 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp all spice

Tips
Storage: Store cool donuts in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
Don’t have all-spice? Replace it with apple pie spice or some more cinnamon.
For a strong apple cider flavor: make sure you use fresh apple cider. And when you are making the apple cider reduction, test out the flavor to make sure you are getting the strong apple flavor that you are looking for. You can also add in some apple juice or apple butter to help boost the flavor.
Make these donuts gluten free. Luckily, the only thing with gluten in this recipe is the flour mixture. Simply replace the all-purpose flour with gluten free flour!
To dispense the donut batter into the donut pans: Spray donut pan with cooking spray. Then, using a large piping bag or ziplock bag, pipe batter into the prepared donut cavities.
