Easy Baked Nutella Doughnuts with Nutella Glaze recipe. Healthier than your typical donut, this makes the perfect dessert idea to satisfy your sweet tooth.
Fall is finally here, which means pumpkin and apple recipes are coming out of the woodwork. Everyone is grabbing their pumpkin spice latte and apple pie, and gearing up for sweater weather.
And here I am, still making food with Nutella.
Even though the seasons are changing, my tastes don’t seem to be following along.
But after trying these Baked Nutella Doughnuts with Nutella Glaze, I am pretty sure that you will forget all about your apple pumpkin treats. Give me jars of Nutella and I am a happy girl.
And because John REFUSES to do to the Nutella Cafe in Chicago, I am going to have to settle for making my own Nutella treats.
Not that I am settling for these Baked Nutella Doughnuts with Nutella Glaze at all!!
I was debating making my Brown Butter Baked Apple Doughnuts for the fall, but Nutella won out this week.
These doughnuts are so easy to make. All you need is a doughnut pan and some pantry staples that I KNOW you already have in your house!
What you need to make these Baked Nutella Doughnuts with Nutella Glaze
I always have most of these ingredients at home. All you need is;
- milk
- nutella
- brown sugar
- eggs
- butter
- vanilla bean paste (or extract)
- cake flour (or regular all-purpose flour)
- baking soda
- salt
- powdered sugar
That’s it!
Okay, so maybe you don’t have cake flour.
That is fine. You can substitute all-purpose flour for the cake flour. It just won’t be as soft and airy as the ones I made.
Which is maybe something you would prefer better in a doughnut! I know a lot of my friends prefer the more dense doughnuts. It is all a preference thing.
Here’s to celebrating fall with Nutella doughnuts. And hopefully making at least SOMETHING with pumpkin or apple before this season is over!

I’m looking for a hazelnut cookie glaze that hardens enough to be stacked. Would this be a good choice?
Also wanting a hazelnut filling between two cookies.
Both using hazelnut spread, not actual nuts from a bag.
Thanks for the help!

They stack pretty well, however I don’t think that they would be a good choice as a filling between two cookies.
