This mashed Banana Cinnamon Oatmeal is so quick and easy to make. This recipe uses one ripe banana and is ready in under 10 minutes.
Surprise surprise. More oatmeal. I just can’t get enough!!
But now that summer is turning into fall and the weather is getting colder, I am sure there are a lot of you out there who will be looking for oatmeal recipes. I am just building my repertoire so that any of you out there looking for oatmeal recipes can have options.
Your welcome.
This Banana Cinnamon Oatmeal is stupid simple, but it is one of my favourites. Something about the banana cinnamon combo gets me every time. And it is made with only one ripe banana, which is perfect because it seems like I always have only one ripe banana lying around my house.
And, of course, I always have oats lying around my house. How else am I going to fuel my oatmeal obsession?
I normally make this oatmeal using regular rolled oats, but for these pictures I used porridge oats with a whole bunch of grains and seeds mixed in, and it was SO GOOD. It tasted so healthy, but not in a bad way.
Okay, I know everyone is on a healthy foods kick/lifestyle right now and I really want to get on board. But I’m just too obsessed with my Nutella and potato chips! Like, not together obviously.
Or actually maybe that would be amazing.
But I think maybe these oatmeal breakfasts that I have been doing lately are a step in the right direction.
This is basically like a banana bread in a bowl, but way healthier and more filling. One bowl of this oatmeal keeps me satisfied until lunch. And not many things can make me feel full until noon!
Use whatever oats you have on hand, use whatever milk you have on hand. You can even sub out the milk in place of water if you want it to have less fat and calories! Just make it. You can thank me later.
