Easy Chips Ahoy Truffles recipe. Made with only 4 ingredients, this quick and simple dessert idea is a decadent treat.
I am just going to go all out for the no-bake recipes this summer.
The only thing that I am going to turn on the oven for is if I make fresh bread. Bread is my one weakness. Well, bread and desserts and ice cream and…
And now my newest weakness, these Chips Ahoy Truffles.
What you need to make Chips Ahoy Truffles
You are 4 ingredients away from making these truffles. All you need is:
- Chips Ahoy cookies
- cream cheese
- chocolate chips
- coconut oil
That’s it!
Variations
- Oreo Cookies. Don’t have Chips Ahoy cookies? Oreo cookies work just as well. Actually any store bought cookies that you may have work very well in place of the Chips Ahoy cookie, as long as they are hard cookies.
- Change out the chocolate chips. Whatever chocolate chips that you have on hand work well. If you wanted a white outer layer, make it with white chocolate chips. Feeling adventurous? Try butterscotch chips!
- Gluten Free option. If you wanted to make these gluten free, gluten free Oreos work well in place of the Chips Ahoy. Or if you wanted something more similar to these truffles, the Made Good cookies are also another great option.
- Vegan option. If you wanted to make these truffles vegan, just switch out the chocolate chips to vegan chocolate chips, and the cream cheese to vegan cream cheese.

Chips Ahoy Truffles
Ingredients
- 1 (350g) package Chips Ahoy cookies
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 Tbsp coconut oil
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a food processor, pulse the Chips Ahoy cookies until it looks like fine crumbs. Set 1 Tbsp of the cookie crumbs aside.
- Add the cream cheese into the food processor, and pulse until fully combined.
- Using a medium cookie scoop, scoop the cookie mixture onto the prepared baking sheet. Shape the balls with your hands.
- Refrigerate the balls for at least 30 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in a microwave safe bowl, melt the chocolate and coconut oil in 30 second intervals in the microwave, mixing until smooth.
- Dip the balls in the melted chocolate and return to the baking sheet. Sprinkle with the reserved cookie crumbs, then return to the fridge until the chocolate has hardened.
