Easy Christmas Chocolate Pretzel Bites recipe. Made with only 3 ingredients, this is the perfect last minute dessert idea for the holidays.
Christmas keeps creeping closer and closer, and I am not ready for it at ALL.
My husband left on a business trip this weekend, and as soon as he left I thought that it would be the perfect opportunity for me to go online Christmas shopping.
Welp. That failed miserably. I ended up buying only things that I wanted and no Christmas presents for others.
I am really bad at this gift giving thing.
But do you think that my friends and family would forgive me for my lack of gifts if I came with these Christmas Chocolate Pretzel Bites??
They are so good, I would personally be very surprised if they lasted long enough to give as gifts.
So if you receive this from me, know that I love you enough that I restrained myself from eating it seconds after making it.
Usually, around Christmastime I will make these Peppermint Nutella Cups as snacks, or last minute Christmas gifts, but this recipe might be even better.
Not only do they look festive, they only require 3 ingredients and are ready in no time.
Just making this puts you in the Christmas spirit almost instantly.
Maybe I will try Christmas shopping again tomorrow, but I can’t promise that I won’t get distracted and buy things for myself instead.
But this time, I will have these pretzel bites to snack on. Maybe they give me inspiration on what to buy for my friends and family.
Or maybe they will only convince me further that I need to make this for everyone I know.

Christmas Chocolate Pretzel Bites
Ingredients
- 40 mini pretzels
- 40 rosebud/kisses chocolates
- 40 red and/or green m&ms
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200˚F.
- Place the mini pretzels on a baking sheet. Place one rosebud (or Hershey's Kiss) on top of each pretzel.
- Bake in the oven for 5-10 minutes until chocolate is shiny and soft. Do not go too long or else the chocolate may lose its shape!
- Remove from the oven and quickly place 1 m&m in the centre of each rosebud/kiss. Press down gently. Repeat for the remaining pretzels.
- Allow to cool at room temperature. Once cooled, place in an airtight container and store in the fridge.
Notes
- I used rosebud chocolates, but you can use Hershey's hugs or kisses.
- You can make these for any occasion by switching up the m&ms to the seasonal varieties.
