Easy Dill Pickle Popcorn recipe. Homemade seasoning on top of your favorite light snack, this makes a great healthy nut free idea.
Still pregnant. Going on 41 weeks pregnant and I just want this baby out of me!
But for now, I am trying to relax every night and watch a good movie with John. We want to spend quality time together now before the baby arrives.
The only company we need is this Dill Pickle Popcorn.
I used to always buy the dill pickle popcorn shakers. That one was one of my favourite flavours. Well, after salt and vinegar of course.
The problem with those shakers is that when the weather is humid, they clump up. So you need to pry it our with a fork, and then the mixture comes out in clumps. It is just all around a mess.
So of course, the only other solution is to make it yourself!
What do you need to make this Dill Pickle Popcorn?
So maybe for popcorn it’s a lot of ingredients, but I’m sure you have most of them on hand. All you need is:
- corn kernels
- butter
- dried dill
- garlic powder
- mustard powder
- salt
That’s it!
Some other popcorn recipes that I love making are my Everything but the Bagel Popcorn and my Chocolate Covered Fruit Popcorn. But right now, I am obsessed with this Dill Pickle Popcorn and will be making it on repeat for the near future.

I’ve been in your shoes – I over-baked my babies to 41+ weeks too! But yum – dill pickle popcorn seasoning. This has to be the best idea and popcorn seasoning ever!

Haha, I was getting so impatient near the end!!

I’d like a more vinegary flavor, so I’m going to experiment but this was definitely a tasty deviation from our normal seasoning.

I made this recipe as-is except I added Pork King Good Himalayan Pink Salt & Vinegar Seasoning to give a vinegar flavor. It came out delicious!

That sounds so good! Glad you liked it!

Thanks, overall like this a lot!
but it’s WAY to salty, for both my partner and myself. Way too much salt. Surprised no one else has commented about this. I’ll try it again another time with half as much salt and see how that goes.
