Easy Guacamole recipe. Made with simple ingredients, this dip makes a great appetizer and pairs perfectly with salsa.
I know I’m not the only one who will pay extra for guac. Who’s with me?
But now that I know that it’s so easy to make, I’m almost debating whether or not I should put some in a tupperware container and bring it everywhere I go. What do you think?
Also, I can’t believe that I have made Spicy Guacamole but not plain and simple Easy Guacamole.
This one is for people who can’t handle the spice. Or like me, get heartburn at any food with a slight spice. Dang pregnancy giving me heartburn from eating anything these days. But this Easy Guacamole is proving to be not one of those foods that trigger it.
What do you need to make this Easy Guacamole?
Surprisingly not much. I don’t know why it has taken me so long to make it. All you need is:
- avocados
- lime
- salt
- onion
- cilantro
- garlic
- cayenne pepper
- ground cumin
That’s it!
This goes well with nachos, burritos, … heck, I’ve even put it on an omelette. But however you enjoy it, this guacamole recipe won’t do you wrong.

Easy Guacamole
Ingredients
- 3 medium avocados, peeled, pitted and mashed
- 1 medium lime, juiced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 Tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mash together the avocado, lime juice and salt. Mix in the onions, cilantro and garlic.
- Mix in the cayenne pepper and cumin. Refrigerate for around 1 hour before serving to allow the flavours to blend a little more. Enjoy!
Notes
- You can use lime juice, but fresh limes make a world of difference.
- Make sure you are using avocados that are ripe. They should feel lightly soft, but not mushy to the touch.
So easy to make and full of flavour. Was perfect for our Sunday football games. We will be adding it to future game days.
