Today, one of my students told me that they have never tried Nutella.
Never tried Nutella??? What is this craziness?? To be fair, she just moved to Canada from China, and she claims that they don’t sell it there. But from google searching this question, it seems like they actually do sell Nutella, but I’m sure it’s not as beloved as it is here.
So for her first Nutella initiation, I will not only bring a jar to class, but I will bake her these super easy Nutella crescent rolls.
But before you go on and tell me how great a teacher I am (although I truly never get tired of hearing it 😉) I need to tell you just how simple these Easy Nutella Crescent Rolls are to make!!
First, you start with a can of refrigerated crescent rolls. I use the pillsbury crescent rolls, but I am sure any one brand works fine. I know, not too sexy now right? But then you roll them out, slather them in Nutella, bake ’em in the oven and BAM! It goes from looking like this:
To looking like THIS:
And if you really want to, sprinkle some icing sugar on top! But that is always optional. If you exclude the icing sugar, this is a 2 ingredient recipe which is ready in under 20 minutes. Which means that I can make it in the morning while getting ready and STILL look like the best teacher ever.
Maybe I should make another batch. Just in case I get hungry on the way.
If you want another easy recipe using crescent rolls, try my Churro Crescent Rolls. They are also 3 ingredients, and SO GOOD.
And if you try this recipe, let me know! Rate it, leave a comment and tag me with #atasteofmadness on Instagram! I always love seeing what you are creating!

You know what Cathleen, I too have never tried Nutella! (I know) and I don't have the excuse of living in China where it may be more difficult to source- I see it all the time in our supermarket and yet have never picked up a jar! Looking at these scrummy looking crescents I think that's about to change! Best teacher 2016 nomination! 😉

I confess I’m not a Nutella fan even though I live in Northern Italy where it comes from! However, my hubby likes it and since he’s a sweet breakfast fan, I made some of these crescent rolls for him! Of course, he just gobbled them down.
