Easy Eggnog Snickerdoodles recipe. A great snack or dessert idea to use up your leftover eggnog over the Christmas holidays.
How is it December already?? I am amazed at how fast time seems to be going this year, I can barely keep up!
Last month I missed Halloween baking because THAT seemed to come out of nowhere.
This year I am going to get ahead of the Christmas baking, so that it seems like I have my life in order.
First order of business? These Eggnog Snickerdoodles.
You thought that I was lying when I told you that I bought so many tubs of eggnog?
Apart from recipe testing these cookies countless times, I have been also making this eggnog latte oatmeal on repeat. And I have a couple more eggnog recipes in the works for all of you.
Are you getting sick of eggnog yet? I really hope not!!
Just when you think that snickerdoodle cookies can’t get any better, these Eggnog Snickerdoodles make an appearance.
Seriously, if you want a light and fluffy cookie that are perfect for the Christmas cookie season, look no further!
This recipe uses eggnog plus other pantry essentials, you probably won’t need to go shopping for anything new for this recipe!
One of the best things about these cookies is that they are nut free, so I can bring them to my school without any problems.
Now I just need an alternative to eggnog that vegans can drink. Does anyone know a good vegan eggnog alternative? I would love to make this cookie recipe so that everyone can enjoy it!
But for now, I am just going to be making these cookies on repeat. Tis the season for eggnog after all!

Cinnamon and Nutmeg sounds so flavorful. I love the name too. Best for the festive season and gifting option too.

What a clever idea to use eggnog! And bonus points for them being nut free. I worked as a teacher in the past and we had the same ban on nuts, but all teachers had to provide sweets for the staffroom. These cookies would have been adored by my colleagues! Maybe I should back a batch and go visit?

I am sure they would! It is so hard to make something interesting and nut free.

What a great combination of holiday flavors — egg nog and cinnamon. We love our snickerdoodle and I didn’t think they could be made any better. Well, I was wrong. We all loved the addition of the egg nog flavor.

Agree! Snickerdoodle is so good!!

Snickerdoodles are my favorite! What a smart idea to use up that Eggnog that is always leftover at the holidays.

I try not to drink ALL of the egg nog, so baking with it is my favourite solution!
