Easy Green Oatmeal recipe. A breakfast idea inspired by your favourite smoothie, it also makes a great St Patrick’s Day idea.
Okay, so I know I said that my next post would be a fall themed recipe. But I just realized that we officially have 2 more days of summer left, and I couldn’t resist making a recipe with berries on top.
Even if this recipe might be one of the weirdest oatmeals I have ever made.
You’d think I would draw the line at Milk Tea Bubble Tea Oatmeal. But no. Here I am combining two of the breakfasts that I eat the most. Green smoothies and oatmeal.
This Green Oatmeal might sound weird, but don’t knock it until you try it. I have been making this recipe on repeat lately because I am looking for a healthy recipe that keeps me full until lunch. And this one fits the bill.
What do you need to make this Green Oatmeal?
This recipe uses surprisingly few ingredients. All you need is:
- milk
- spinach
- banana
- oats
- your favourite toppings
That’s it!
This Green Oatmeal is also perfect for St Patrick’s Day, so I will let you go ahead and bookmark this recipe for then. Don’t be shy 😉
