Easy Halloween Chocolate Pretzels recipe. These sweet and salty treats make a great last minute dessert or snack.
Okay it’s fall. But instead of baking with pumpkin or apple, how do you feel about a Halloween recipe?
Too soon?
For me, it’s never too soon to start getting ready for the holidays.
And yes, I know that Halloween isn’t a holiday. But me and John’s favourite thing to do is to go for a walk around the neighbourhood and look at the decorations on houses, and watch the kids in their cute outfits.
Next year we will have a kid that we can dress up for Halloween and I am both super excited and not ready for it!!
But back to what you are all here for: these Halloween Chocolate Pretzels!
What do you need to make these Halloween Chocolate Pretzels?
Not much time or ingredients at all. All you need is:
- chocolate chips
- coconut oil
- mini pretzels
- candy eyeballs
That’s it!

But for now, I will be making these Halloween Chocolate Pretzels because they are so stinking cute and easy to make.

Halloween Chocolate Pretzels
Ingredients
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 Tbsp coconut oil
- 20 mini pretzels
- 40 candy eyeballs
Instructions
- Add the chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwavable safe bowl.
- Microwave in 30 second intervals, mixing until smooth.
- Meanwhile, line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Dip the pretzels in the chocolate and place on the prepared baking sheet.. Top with 2 candy eyeballs. Repeat until you use up the chocolate and place in the freezer until the chocolate has hardened. Store in an airtight container.
Notes
- Omit the eyeballs to enjoy chocolate covered pretzels all year round!
