Easy Hazelnut Nutella Cups recipe. Made with only 3 ingredients, this last minute dessert idea is the perfect way to satisfy your sweet tooth.
Is it bad that I am extremely obsessed with Mini Nutella Cups?
They are just so quick and easy to make, it is my go-to recipe for when I am short on time, or don’t want to put in too much effort into thinking about what to make for dessert.
And with a small baby at home, let’s just say these Hazelnut Nutella Cups are being made on repeat around here.
What do you need to make these Hazelnut Nutella Cups?
Can you believe that you are only 3 ingredients away from making these Nutella Cups? All you need is:
- Nutella
- coconut oil
- hazelnuts
That’s it!
Ingredient Substitutions
Unfortunately, there aren’t really too many ingredients you can substitute for the Nutella or the Coconut Oil.
The Coconut Oil is essential, as it hardens when cold and it has a great subtle flavour that elevates these cups. Other oils don’t harden when cold, so the only suitable oil would be coconut. As for the Nutella.. well I wouldn’t suggest making Nutella Cups without the Nutella.
As for the hazelnuts, you can definitely switch those out for anything you want. I’ve done almonds, marshmallows, mini eggs, m&ms.. the list goes on! You are only limited by your imagination!

These nutella cups are so very dangerously delicious!! I made them with my son, they were a fun little rainy day project. The only problem is that we basically spent the whole afternoon eating them afterwards, haha! Will definitely be making them again.
