This is it guys. After all my yearning and gawking at other blogs featuring their gorgeous ice cream recipes, and me getting jealous that I don’t have an ice cream maker, I finally did it. I made ice cream.
But whaaaa? How is this possible? Well. I have been window shopping for ice cream makers, and have finally ordered one on amazon. Well, I guess that’s not really window shopping, but I love amazon so much that I order EVERYTHING from there. Then I don’t have to leave my house. How lazy I have become..
Anyways, a couple of minutes after I ordered it, I thought “come on now, this is taking too long. I waited until the end of summer to buy an ice cream maker???” So I got up, and made this. Made this without an ice cream maker. That was the best part.
And while there is no cream in this ice cream (can I actually call this ice cream?) it uses a total of 3 ingredients. Ingredients I’m sure everyone has on hand. Which just makes it a mega win in my books.

Uh yes please… I do have everything on hand! Don't feel bad about being a lazy shopper…you're being a smart shopper! I went to Barnes and Noble the other day to buy some books and ended up with a bargain yoga book but not the books I intended to buy coz they were freaking expensive. I went on amazon and looked for the same books and found out they were a good 5-10 bucks cheaper especially coz they were eligible for the free shipping deal. Pretty awesome deal.

I LOVE amazon as well! It makes for buying textbooks easy! Hehe.
And ice cream without an ice cream maker! How awesome and simple! 🙂
HEALTHY ice cream? Another win!

I love shopping at amazon too! And this ice cream sounds wonderful, peanut butter and bananas are perfect together. Coincidentally, I just posted a frozen banana ice cream on my blog yesterday! Next time I shall stir some peanut butter into my banana ice cream.

Mmmmm that looks incredible my friend – I made exactly the same last year and ate it with a GIANT PB cookie… Not one of the healthiest nights but like you show in your pics, one of the yummiest 🙂

I've seen a lot of recipes using bananas as the base that don't require an ice cream maker. I've yet to try it, but it looks and sounds like it would be great! Congrats on ordering yourself an ice cream maker, too! I'm sure you'll have fun with it.

Oohh…I'm going to have to try this with Sunbutter since we have a nut allergy in the house. Protein, bananas – I'm seriously thinking of feeding this to my kids for breakfast!

Have a nice day, regards.

I've seen recipes for banana ice cream, but never have seen peanut butter added to it. Great idea! My ice cream maker is a busy piece of equipment as ice cream is my downfall. Put it on your wish list!
