First pumpkin recipe of the season over here, and I am SO EXCITED FOR IT!!
If you know me at all, you know that I go CRAZY for pumpkin spice lattes. Basically, almost all of my money goes to my local coffee shops to keep my addiction alive.
But lately, John has been on my back to save money and eat healthier.
Do you know how much sugar is in those pumpkin spice lattes you get from your coffee shop? You probably don’t want to know.
So I have decided to make my own version at home.
This Healthy Pumpkin Spice Latte is helping me save money AND is cutting my sugar consumption in HALF.
Actually, over half because it is made with Splenda Stevia.
If you haven’t tried Splenda Stevia, run, don’t walk, to your nearest grocery store to buy some. It is 100% natural, zero calories and it tastes SO GOOD in coffee, tea and baked goods that you won’t miss sugar at all.
And a box of this stuff goes a long way. Seriously, in your morning coffee or tea, you don’t need more than one packet, promise. It is also made from the actual leaves of the stevia plant. How cool is that!
With the Thanksgiving, and, dare I say it, CHRISTMAS approaching, I am sure you are all gearing up to bake something tasty in your kitchen.
You do not need to sacrifice flavour when cutting down on the sugar and calorie content of your baked foods! Replacing the sugar with this Splenda Stevia, be it in your baked goods or your holiday drinks, is such a great way to make your treats a little bit healthier.
I have made this Healthy Pumpkin Spice Latte for a couple of days now, and I have got to say. I don’t miss the coffee shop lattes one bit.
Plus I saved enough money to go out for dinner tonight. I’d call that a win win.
If you are curious and are looking for more recipes using Splenda Stevia, here are some of my favourites. The Banana Walnut Oatmeal because, duh, oatmeal! And other drink ideas include Vanilla Sweet Cream Coffee, Homemade Chai, and Spiced Apple Mulled Cider.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I will be in the kitchen with another mug of this Pumpkin Spice Latte. This drink will be keeping me warm for the next few seasons.

I’m so glad I came across this recipe because I drink way too many pumpkin spice lattes during the fall. It’s good to have a delicious but healthy option!

Me too! It is so much better at home 😉

wow! The amount of sugar in PSL’s at coffee shops is one of the major reasons I don’t order them. Or, if I do I ask for half sweet but then it’s just never the same. Using stevia is the perfect solution.
