Greetings from the lake!
This is a pre-scheduled post, so I am hoping this finds all of you well. I have taken 6 days out of my holidays to relax at the cabin by the lake. Which means no wifi and washing machines, but a lot of swimming and soaking up the sun.
My kind of week!
The thing is, this lake is in the interior of BC, which means that it gets freaking hot. And I mean hot like you walk out from your shower, and you immediately want to jump right back in because you are sweating buckets.
Which is another reason I love that we are on the lake. I think that I am never going to take off my bathing suit the entire time I am there. I will constantly be jumping into the cool lake water to cool down.
Alternatively, I could make some refreshing honey green tea lemonade.
The thing is, I am sure many of you out there are doing some kind of camping/going to your cabin type thing right now, and there is no way to know if there will be a Starbucks nearby. Which is a huge problem for me right now, because Starbucks=life. I am currently crushing on the green tea lemonade which I have been buying almost everyday this entire summer.
Now that I am at the cabin, I think a little Starbucks from home is definitely needed.
If you are making this recipe, you can adjust the ingredients to your liking. Add more or less honey. Use real lemons, or lemon juice. Play around with it a little to fit your liking.
As for me, I will be drinking a glass of this while lying on a hammock with a good book. Have a great week lovelies!

Aww, that sounds amazing Cathleen! Even despite the insane heat! Here in Glasgow it has been lovely for the last two days, but I've been stuck at work, boo! Tried to make the most of it though, and walked to and from work a few times 🙂 Mmmmm!
This tea looks and sounds amazing! Nothing like when you really nail it and concoct a delicious fancy beverage 😀 Thank you so much for the recipe, and enjoy your holidays! What book are you reading? I am starting part time college in a few weeks,a dn I couldn't be more excited, eep! x

This is the exact kind of drink I like to sip on when it's hot out. And it's perfect for me since we don't have a Starbucks nearby!

I love anything with green tea and/or lemonade but I don’t do honey. Have you ever substituted w/ agave? Wondering if that would work???
atasteofmadness
I have never done that, but I am sure it would taste fantastic 🙂
