Japan Candy Box Giveaway! Packed with Japanese candies, you don’t want to miss it! This giveaway is open internationally.
It’s giveaway time!!
If you are a regular reader of my blog, you will know by now that I am OBSESSED with all things sweet. Cakes, cookies, brownies.. I bake one of them every week.
What you MIGHT not know is that I never liked candy until I met my husband.
Crazy, right? Candy goes hand in hand with sugar filled treats, so why was I not into it?
Those days are long gone. Now, I can’t get enough candy! Especially Japanese candy. When I went to Japan two years ago, I filled my suitcase with Japanese candy that I can’t buy in Canada.
But now with Japan Candy Box, you can get a box full of Japanese candy delivered straight to your doorstep every month.
I got a couple of boxes before, and they never disappoint. I think that they make excellent Christmas or birthday gifts that keep on giving.
I recently got a November box of goodies from Japan Candy Box, and it seemed to be Thanksgiving themed which I loved! This is the haul:
Don’t let the name fool you. It is not only candy. There is also some salty snack foods that are so different and unique from things you can get in North America.
Above we have:
Bonchi Ponsuke Arare Crackers ($3.20) This was actually my favourite snack from the savoury ones. It tastes like those rice crackers that you can usually buy in “asian” stores, but in little bite-sized pieces. So good, I am thinking of buying a whole bunch separately just to have on hand!
Osatsu Doki Sweet Potato Chips ($3.50). The Sweet Potato Chips were unlike anything I have ever tried before! They tasted like sweet potato fries, but crunchier and portable. Kinda my new favourite thing now.
Next up, we have:
Calbee Jagabee Osatsubee Sweet Potato Chips ($3.30). These are actually like sweet potato fries: the shape, the taste.. not so much the texture because it is hard and more chip like, but still very good. Tastes a lot like the sweet potato chips from the other photo.
Now for the sweet foods portion!
For the candies, we have:
Kanro Pure Gummy – Double Berry ($3.20). Gotta love a good gummy candy! These are so super chewy, which is what I love in a gummy candy, and they taste so good! Actually not as sweet as I was imagining they would be.
Meiji Gochi Sour Plum Gummy Candies ($2.80). I can never say bad things about gummy candies! I ate these in no time flat. Definitely recommend!
Kit Kat Chocolatory Cranberry and Almond Chocolate ($9.50 for pack or 12/ $0.79 each) As soon as I opened the chocolate, I was surprised by how much STUFF there was sprinkled on top of it!! It was so good, it definitely made a great addition to my coffee time!
Pine Sherbet Pero Lollipop Cola ($1.90) This is my childhood dream come true!! You remember those Fun Dips?? This totally reminds me of that, but like coca cola gummy flavour. Love love love this!
Coris Chewing Soft Candies – Plum ($1.20) This was very surprising! It tasted like bubble gum, it kind of felt like bubble gum when eating it, but dissolved in your mouth while you were chewing.
Bourbon Bit Crunch Chocolate Almond Crush ($1.20) Love me some chocolate all the time. This one satisfied my sweet tooth cravings so well. Love chocolate with a bit of crunch to it!
Furuta Gudetama White Chocolate Bar ($1.40) This chocolate is SO good, and surprisingly big too! Great for snacking on with tea or coffee.
So what is the haul for this November box? If we add up all the prices, we get a grand total of $22.59 of candies and treats. How amazing would it be to get that much value every month??
If you are thinking about getting them for Christmas gifts, here is the price breakdown for subscriptions:
- 1 month for $19.90
- 6 months for $18.90/month
- 12 months for $17.90/month
What a steal, right? Seriously, I would go to Japan Candy Box right now and buy someone you love a candy box subscription. Or buy it for yourself!
But also, try for the giveaway below! See if you will get lucky and get yourself a gift of your own. Happy holidays to you!
