Easy Maple Latte recipe. The maple flavor pairs so well with the creamy milk, this hot latte makes mornings so much better.
There is nothing better than a homemade latte first thing in the morning.
I know that it’s still the summer, and people are wanting iced drinks all the time. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good cold brew most days, but right now I am feeling in the fall mood. I want some fall flavors and some cozy latte vibes.
And this Maple Latte might be one of the coziest drinks I have made in a long time.
Maple Latte Ingredients
This hot Maple Latte is only made with 3 ingredients. All you need is:
- strong coffee
- pure maple syrup
- whole milk
Equipment Needed
- Milk frother: the good news is you don’t need any fancy equipment for this. If you have a milk steamer that works great. If not, use a handheld frother, or a mason jar. For the mason jar method, place the milk in the mason jar, cover, then shake until foamy.
- A way to make your coffee. I use my aeropress, but a french press or moka pot works well too.
Variations
Make it vegan. To make it vegan, just use dairy free milk. Some non-dairy milks I like in this recipe is oat milk or coconut milk, but any type of milk you have on hand will work.
Replace the coffee with espresso shots. If you are blessed with an espresso machine, you can replace the coffee with 2 shots of espresso.
Swap out the maple syrup. Use honey, corn syrup or whatever sweetener you like in place of the real maple syrup.
