This Matcha Latte Oatmeal is so easy to make, it makes a great filling breakfast. You can now get your green tea and meal all in one place! Can be made vegan.
I know. I should really space out my oatmeal posts more. But what can I say? I’m addicted!
Especially to matcha. Lately I have been trying to clean out my cupboards. And what do I find? A massive stash of matcha! So first, I made matcha muffins. Next, I made this matcha oatmeal. On repeat.
I can’t even count how many times I have made this oatmeal. It is kinda my new favourite thing to eat for breakfast.
I mean, oatmeal is always my favourite thing to eat for breakfast. But when you can have a matcha latte and oatmeal all in one bowl? Yeah, I think that is what I consider a win!
I like my matcha lattes strong, so I add a lot of matcha in it. But it is really all about your preferences. Maybe you would like to add less matcha. Maybe you would like to add more maple syrup. That is the beauty with oatmeal: you can taste test it while you go.
And it is so easy to make, that you might want to try different variations the next day.
Like putting an easter bunny head on top.
Just saying. The sky is your limit!
You’d think I would have run out of ideas for oatmeal by now. But I am just getting started!
And if there is any oatmeal idea that I should be trying, let me know in the comments! I am always up for suggestions.

Is matcha the powder that tastes slightly sweet? I remember trying something else thinking it was going to be that, and then I was like – this is something waaaaay different!
But this oatmeal looks so delicious! 😀 And cacao nibs are so tasty!
Tonight, I had to think on my feet as my peanut butter toast was too dry on it’s own, so I used leftover rose icing, and it….sort of worked I think? I don’t know I’m confused, but the toast disappeared, haha! Hope you’re having a lovely week so far! x
atasteofmadness
Haha, no!! Matcha isn’t actually sweet at all. This is why I sweetened it with maple syrup 🙂
Also, that toast idea sounds genius! Definitely going to try that out 😉
