Easy Nutella Mini Egg Mug Cake recipe. This eggless treat makes the best last minute Easter dessert idea, made with only 5 ingredients.
I am slowly running out of ingredients in my kitchen.
First, it was eggs. Grocery stores near me are sold out of eggs, which is a problem when you are a serial baker.
But now, I am almost out of Nutella. And this is NOT acceptable.
But what is acceptable? Using the last of your Nutella on this Nutella Mini Egg Mug Cake.
What do you need to make this Nutella Mini Egg Mug Cake?
The only eggs that you will find in this recipe are Mini Eggs. Once I can find actual eggs, I will start baking again. but for now, all I need to make this mug cake is:
- Nutella
- flour
- baking powder
- milk
- Mini Eggs
That’s it!!
I used Shimmer Mini Eggs because I thought that they were pretty, but you can use whatever mix in you want, or have on hand.
I think that even Easter M&Ms, or any chocolate candy would work in place of the Mini Eggs. In this time of food scarcity, we need to try to use what we have. I’m starting to run our of ingredients, even with my 25 lb bag of flour!
These days when I go to the grocery store, while everyone else is stocking up on toilet paper, you can always catch me stocking up on Mini Eggs.
And if you are the same way, consider trying some of my other favourite dessert recipes using Mini Eggs:
Be safe out there. Keep calm, and bake on!

I like the single-serving idea here, now I won’t be tempted to eat the whole cake!

That was my idea too! Thanks Jessica 🙂

Now this is the easiest way to make a mug cake, seriously. And it is so timely as I was going to make something similar for Easter. Fantastic recipe!

I couldn’t find eggs today either! But I do have enough for a mug cake! I bet they are amazing with all that Nutella. A great idea for a change. Easter is always the same chocolates.

This one doesn’t need eggs at all!! And you can never go wrong with Nutella 😉

I just made this because I had all the ingredients
Some people might enjoy it, but it was much too sweet for me, I couldn’t even finish it.
