It’s Friday! We made it through the week!
Work is finally slowing down as we reach the end of the school year. Can you feel it? If you have children or work at a school, I am sure you are anxiously awaiting the end of June.
Or not so anxiously if you are me. I am saying goodbye to my first graduating year of grade 12s at this school. Tears will be shed. If you are looking for me, I will be the teacher in the back. Wearing sunglasses. No one will know.
But with the sadness of seeing them go, there is also celebration. I have seen them work their butts off all year become the successful, responsible and overall fantastical human beings that they are. They are off to UofT, UBC, Waterloo.. there is even a student going to Harvard! So to celebrate their successes… I am making beautiful blondies.
But what can be better than blondies? How about blondies with Nutella swirled around inside.
Yeah. Now you’re talking.
These Nutella Swirled Blondies are very similar to the blondies I made a couple of weeks ago for Easter. This time, instead of the mini eggs I swirled in some Nutella.
Much more elegant if I do say so myself.
Also, it is rare that I make a recipe more than once. So you know it must be good.
I actually didn’t bring this to school because… well there is Nutella. And I am not sure how extreme of a nut free school we are, so I don’t want to risk it. Also, I don’t want to run the risk of causing an allergic reaction with one of my students.
So celebrating by myself with these Nutella Swirled Blondies. Finding some gaps in the school year where I am not too busy to bake is rare, so I will take advantage of it.
In the meantime, I am planing my next blondies recipe. Any ideas?

The kind of blondies that have Nutella swirled within it is the kind of blondie I can get behind. Looks deliciously moist!
