Easy Oven Baked Pork Chops recipe. Ready in 30 minutes, this makes the perfect weeknight dinner idea. Great for meal prep.
Cheap and easy recipes are always what I lean towards most days.
Especially now, in 2020, with so many people losing their jobs or having a lot less hours, I feel like a lot of you are leaning towards these types of recipes too.
For whatever the reason you are in search of a super cheap and easy meal, I have a recipe for you.
These Oven Baked Pork Chops are super easy, and very inexpensive to make. All you need is:
- brown sugar
- garlic powder
- cayenne powder
- italian seasoning
- salt & pepper
- pork chops
- oil
That’s it!
Apart from the pork chops, this uses ingredients I already have in the pantry. Pair that with pork chops, which is the cheapest meat you can get in the grocery store (that is, in my grocery store at least) and you have yourself a super cheap and easy meal.
I like pairing these pork chops with some steamed from frozen beans, as well as a baked potato.
Who says you can’t have a cheap homemade dinner that tastes good?
If you want a more involved pork chop recipe, I always go back to my Baked Breaded Pork Chops. It is one of my favourites to make when I want to make my pork chops a little more fancy than just tossing it into the oven, and when I have a little more time on my hands.
Otherwise, this recipe works well in a pinch too!

We love pork chops, but I never cook them at home. I am going to have to give this a try at the weekend.

I love the spice mix you used on these and that you baked them. Much healthier.
