Easy Peanut Butter Mocha recipe. This simple drink recipe gives you a sweet and salty coffee experience to wake you up in the morning.
Today was the first time in a long time that I slept through my alarm clock.
Usually, when I sleep through my alarm, I will grab a Starbucks latte on my way to work. But lately, I have been wanting to spend less money on buying drinks. Plus, making custom specialty blends of flavors is one of my favorite things to do in the morning. And this Peanut Butter Mocha is on of my favorite mocha flavors I have made so far.
Next up on my homemade coffee drinks to try: a peanut butter latte. But until then, I will be making this super simple mocha drink.
Peanut Butter Mocha Ingredients
You just need 6 simple ingredients to make this peanut butter mocha latte. All you need is:
- milk
- cocoa powder
- white sugar
- smooth peanut butter
- strong coffee
- whipped cream
Tips
Making the coffee: I love making the coffee in the aeropress, so that you can get more concentrated coffee. You can also make it in the french press, or buy some cold brew concentrate.
Make this drink vegan. Instead of using whole milk, replace it with a plant based milk and top with dairy free whipped cream. I love using either cashew or almond milk.
Add some extra protein. If you wanted a more protein packed drink, try adding in some protein powder. I love adding in mocha protein powder to this recipe.
Make it iced. I love this recipe because it is so versatile. If you wanted to make this drink iced, fill a tall glass with ice cubes and pour in your coffee drink on top.
