I cannot believe how quickly time is going by!!
Who has already finished all of their Christmas shopping? I king of hope it’s not many of you, because I don’t want to feel too bad about my lack of gifts purchased already.

And we all know what my coping mechanism is for stress. Baking makes everything better..
But how about Christmas cookie baking, dancing around the kitchen listening to Christmas carols. I seriously don’t know a better way to destress and to get into the Christmas spirit.

So now that these cookies are all done and almost completely gone, I need to get down to business. What would you buy a 16 year old girl and a 19 year old boy? Please, I need suggestions. Time is ticking away!
And any other suggestions for the parents of these said gift recipients would also be welcome. I need some ideas!! Thank you all in advance!

I have my shopping done, but no baking. My dishwasher just broke and that has put quite the damper on my baking!
Hi Cathleen,
Love your very Christmasy cookies!
Would you mind linking with our Xmas event at here, http://www.bakeforhappykids.com/2014/12/egg-nog-french-macarons.html?
Cheers!

These look great. Do people still buy music anymore? Or a Starbuck's card? It might not be creative, but it usually does the trick! Just give it with these cookies!
Hi Cathleen, these Peppermint Cookies are so festive looking !
I love eating all things peppermint right now! these are great.
I am further along in my Christmas shopping than I've ever been before, but still not done. I feel like teenagers always want gift cards 🙂 Or possibly a batch of these cookies?? Maybe that's just me!

Oh, you're so right. Baking and eating cookies is such a great way to destress and relax! haha. Plus, peppermint for a refreshing kick. I wish I could help with the teenage gifts; gift cards are the obvious and maybe worth considering even though it isn't the most personal gift, I realize.
perfect christmas feel,yummy cookies!
Looks absolutely mouthwatering! You always have such amazing ideas, and I love that first photo!

These cookies would make a darn fine present if you ask me! I love the crushed up candy cane, it looks fantastic 😀
As for presents, hmmm – my go to's are usually perfume, aftershave, chocolate, uhm…CDs, a good book, a voucher for massage (everyone needs a little TLC!), funny shaped pasta (I found some bicycle ones for my dad who loves cycling 🙂 ), and….yeh! Home made crafts are always good too methinks 🙂 I have also bought some recipe books in past christmases, filled in in halfway with good recipes and then left the rest empty for the recipient to add to 🙂 Photoprint stuff, fancy tea, more chocolate 😛
I finished a couple of weeks ago, but only cause I ran out of money, hah! But I know plenty who have only just started their christmas shopping 🙂 Best of luck Missy! x
Love it! Cookies at Christmas are the best!
What perfect cookies my friend! Christmas treats are the best 😀
Cheers
