Easy moist Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Loaf recipe. Perfectly spiced, this quick bread makes a great nut free breakfast or snack idea.
Okay, yeah. So I didn’t want to be that person that posts pumpkin recipes in the dead of winter, but here we go.
I will try to hold off on pumpkin recipes until September after this Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Loaf. But really, who am I to make these kinds of promises? Promises are meant to be broken, right?
Or maybe that is not the saying.
But let’s be real here. We are all baking with canned pumpkin here.
Unless you are actually getting fresh pumpkin, cutting it up, cooking it and canning it… we are really just using the store bought stuff. So why can’t we enjoy pumpkin all year round??
Also, if you are one of those people with the fresh pumpkins, please don’t think less of me for my lazy workarounds! I may try the fresh pumpkin route one day. But for now, I am all for the canned stuff!
This recipe may look familiar to longtime readers.
In fact, it is just my Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins in loaf form. But I didn’t have much inspiration for recipes this week, and I was craving something with pumpkin. So two birds in one stone, am I right?
And who can resist a good chocolate and pumpkin combo? I definitely can’t!
But if you can, this Pumpkin Spice Loaf is a great alternative.

What a great looking loaf. I’ve never had pumpkin and chocolate chips before but anything with a bit of chocolate in it is delicious in my books!

We are big pumpkin fans in our house and the kids especially love it in everything! This is perfect for having with a cup of tea, or for the kids 9or big kids!) packed lunches.

I have a daughter that tis so crazy about pumpkin anything that I bake things like pumpkin pie and pumpkin muffins several times throughout the year. We decided to bake this recipe together this weekend and we both loved it. Thanks for such a great quick bread recipe! We will be baking this again.

I’m down for pumpkin any time of year, especially when paired with chocolate chips! This bread came out wonderfully moist and was super easy to make.

Definitely no judgement here! I don’t know why it’s frowned upon making anything pumpkin after the holidays. It’s like not being able to wear white after labor day… REALLY?! Hahaha. Love this recipe!

Right?? I totally agree! Thanks Connie 🙂
