Enter these Raspberry Cream Cheese Thumbprint Cookies. They are made with only 5 ingredients, and are honestly my new favourite cookie recipe!
What you need to make Raspberry Cream Cheese Thumbprint Cookies

Tips and Recommendations
One of the big tips in this recipe is DO NOT skip the refrigeration step! I know that it’s so tempting to skip that step because it’s time consuming, and you want cookies RIGHT NOW. I get it. I often omit that step when I see it in cookie recipes. However, for this recipe, it’s pretty crucial.
If you omit that step, your cookies are going to spread. And instead of a cute bite sized cookie you are going to end up with a pancake.
My one recommendation for these cookies is to use Bonne Maman raspberry preserves. I have tried making these cookies with other jams and they just don’t compare. It is more expensive, but it makes a world of difference in these cookies.

Raspberry Cream Cheese Thumbprint Cookies
Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup salted butter, softened
- 1 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 2 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- raspberry preserves
Instructions
- In the bowl of a stand mixer, cream together the cream cheese and butter until light and fluffy. Mix in the sugar until fully incorporated. Slowly mix in the flour until combined.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 45 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 375˚F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- Using a medium cookie scoop, form the dough into balls. Place the balls on the prepared baking sheet and press your thumb into the centre to create a thumbprint.
- Fill each thumbprint with the raspberry preserves.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges begin to golden.
