Easy Sesame Chicken recipe. Better than takeout, this quick and simple dinner idea is perfect for a weeknight meal.
Next on our series of takeout meals made at home, we have this one. Sesame Chicken. One of my favourite things to order, but now you can make it at home.
And you won’t believe how easy it is to make!
This version of Sesame Chicken is definitely a healthier version than what you would get at a food court.
I do not bread the chicken, or deep fry it. Just a simple cook in the pan. What’s really important in this recipe is the sauce.
Do not skimp out on the sauce. In fact, when in doubt make more sauce. It soaks into the rice so well to add some extra good flavour to this meal.
What do you need to make this Sesame Chicken?
Most of the ingredients are for the sauce. All you need is:
- oil
- chicken breasts
- soy sauce
- brown sugar
- rice vinegar
- sesame oil
- fresh ginger
- garlic
- cornstarch
- green onions
- sesame seeds
That’s it!
