Easy Shrimp Stir Fry recipe with homemade honey garlic sauce. My go-to dinner idea when I have snow peas and shrimps in the fridge.
I am a week into March Break at the moment, and I am not ready to go back to work next week.
True, we are pretty spoiled at my job. I remember when I was in high school, March Break was only 1 week long.
But with a HUGE stack of marking to finish, it doesn’t seem like much of a break.
But at least I can do the marking from anywhere in the world. This March Break (like almost all of my March Breaks) I am spending it in Vancouver, so that I can say that I saw my husband at least a little bit in our first year of marriage.
Now with the thought of returning to Toronto this weekend, I am already dreaming up meal ideas for my busy weeknights. This Shrimp Stir Fry is definitely going to be on the menu!
One of the good things (and maybe the only good thing really) about John living on the other side of the country is that he has absolutely NO say in what I eat for dinner.
I have been slowly teaching him how to be less picky throughout the years. When we first started dating 10 years ago, he was the pickiest teenager I have ever met.
Pasta? No sauce.
Food of choice? Chicken strips and fries.
Seafood? No thank you!
I have now convinced him that pasta with sauce is delicious, there are other meals out there other than chicken strips and fries, and that seafood is your friend.
John even tried sushi for the first time with me.
But the one thing that John hasn’t come around to is shrimp. He still refuses to eat it.
So now that he is on the other side of the country, I am trying to get in as many shrimp recipes as I possibly can.
This Shrimp Stir Fry is my new favorite weeknight meal. Ready in under 30 minutes, it is perfect for my return to work. And my return to living Johnless.

I haven’t had stir fry in a million years. It’s one of my favorite dishes, though. I’ll have to give this one a try. I like the heavier sauce that this has.

Our family love a great stir fry and shrimp is one of our favorite. It’s not only tasty but so easy to clean up. You get a big bowlful of veggies and the sauce is so good over the shrimp and vegetables. You’ve inspired me to make some stir fry this week.
