Easy Slow Cooker Pulled Pork recipe is perfect for a weekday dinner. Made with pork tenderloin and kidney beans.
Okay, I am obsessed!!
Do you have a go-to slow cooker pulled pork recipe? Because I do! And it is this one right here. This is totally the best thing since sliced bread. This pulled pork makes an appearance in my house at LEAST once a month.
And I am not joking. This is one of John’s most requested dinners. I never shared it because I assumed it would be SUPER unphotogenic. Boy was I wrong.
I am so in love with everything about this pulled pork. It is so easy to make, it uses ingredients you probably already have at home, and it tastes freaking amazing!
ALSO, it makes a LOT. So you will have leftovers for days. And that in itself is a huge plus for me. Meal prep gets a lot easier if you can re-purpose your leftovers in a wrap or quesadilla for lunch the next day.
Or the next week. Again, I am not complaining.
One ingredient in this pulled pork that is absolutely nonnegotiable for John is the beans. He is a firm believer that whenever you have pork, you MUST have beans. It’s not even a question anymore. Whenever I go shopping with the intention to make this pulled pork, I will reach for the pork tenderloin with one hand, and the can of kidney beans with the other.
When I first started making pulled pork around here, I was very reluctant to add the beans. I was trying to push back on John’s insistence to add the beans the first couple of times. But to tell you the truth, it really IS better with beans.
I put it as optional in the ingredients list, but it is really not optional in this house.
So if you don’t have a slow cooker, or something similar, I would 100% suggest you get one. Would it be too dramatic if I said that my slow cooker saved my life?
Yeah.. probably, but I have been using my trusty Hamilton Beach Slow Cooker for years now. Not sponsored, just 100% love for this super reliable slow cooker. I owned another slow cooker a long time ago, and it broke within a month. NOT COOL.
Now that I have a solid slow cooker, I can and do make this pulled pork as much as I want.

LOVE pulled pork. And it’s fun making it in the slow cooker, isn’t it? I usually serve beans with pulled pork, but as a side. I got to try them cooked with the pork! Neat dish — thanks.

We use our slow cooker a few times a week, partly because the meat comes out so tender and partly because it makes the house smell so good.
atasteofmadness
Yes!! The smell is everything! 🙂
