Easy Spicy Chicken and Cauliflower Casserole recipe. Made with only 5 ingredients, this makes a great weeknight dinner idea.
Okay, I’m getting hungry just thinking about this Spicy Chicken and Cauliflower Casserole again.
The weird thing is, usually I don’t buy cauliflower. But lately, I have been buying cauliflower nonstop thanks to my new favourite recipe Roasted Turmeric Cauliflower. But today, I had chicken I needed to use up. So this recipe was born.
What you need to make Spicy Chicken and Cauliflower Casserole
This recipe is so so easy, you might have all of the ingredients in your kitchen already. All you need is:
- chicken
- cauliflower
- hot sauce
- cream cheese
- shredded cheese
- green onions
That’s it!!
I almost always have all of these ingredients in my fridge, so I know that this will be made on repeat in my house. Next time I am stuck on something to make for a weeknight dinner recipe? This will be the first thing I think of.
That is.. if I continue to buy cauliflower.
You can add more or less hot sauce depending on your liking. I use a whopping 1/3 cup in this recipe because me and John slather almost all our food in hot sauce. But if you like things a little milder, I would cut it down a little and see how you like it.
Remember.. you can always add more hot sauce, but you cannot take it away from a dish!

What kind of hot sauce do you recommend for this? I have sriracha and Crystal — would either one work better? I’ll be making this over the weekend and can’t wait!

I have made it with sriracha and it works great!! I have also used Franks Red Hot sauce which is good. Really anything that you have on hand!!

Wow, what a fabulous casserole. I love that you used cauliflower instead of rice.
