Easy Strawberries and Cream Toast recipe. This healthy quick and simple breakfast idea is perfect on a summer morning.
Posting a recipe using strawberries the day before Winter officially begins? Sounds about right.
Honestly, I feel like I am so out of it when it comes to time these days. With a newborn at home, I am up at all hours. Getting 4 hours sleep on a good day. And it still seems like I don’t get anything done during the day.
Currently eating breakfast at noon. Because who actually follows a schedule with a new baby? Evan is in charge of our schedule now!
This Strawberries and Cream Toast is so quick and easy to make, I almost feel silly about writing up a recipe.
Almost. I still remember seeing a cereal that I used to eat all the time when I was a kid with instructions on how to eat the cereal. Now THAT was a little overkill. This toast is at least a little bit more complex than pouring cereal and milk into a bowl.
What do you need to make this Strawberries and Cream Toast?
Honestly, very minimal ingredients. All you need is:
- bread
- cream cheese
- strawberry preserves
- strawberries
- sliced almonds
That’s it!!

Strawberries and cream has been one of my favorite flavors since the 90s… Putting it on toast just makes sense, we love this recipe! The addition of almonds gives it that yummy almond extract flavor in a natural form like I like as well.

Very nice, and very pretty! Ricotta would work really well also, plus you could add a little lemon zest!
