Strawberries and sour cream come together to make the perfect summer pie! This strawberry sour cream pie is a nice and easy dessert recipe.
I have made more pies this week than I have in my entire life! Which is crazy, considering I mainly make desserts. But pie always seems so hard that I give up as soon as I think about the half day I will have to spend making it.
But now I discovered this pie crust recipe that takes less than 10 minutes to put together, making pie is all I want to do!
There are so may things that surprised me about this pie. One being that I actually had the willpower to save enough of my strawberries to make this pie. I mean, I have been buying strawberries by the basket-full, but at the end of the day, I have snacked on them until they are all gone.
Which is why this pie was made immediately after I got home from grocery shopping.
Obviously, avoiding temptation is not my forte.
So making an entire pie might not have been the best idea in that case, but on the bright side, I now have a dessert that doubles as breakfast. I mean… fruit, right?
I can’t wait to start experimenting with more pies now that I know how easy it can be! Anyone have any suggestions on what I should try next?

I love adding Greek yogurt to desserts, so I can imagine that sour cream would yield the same delicious result 😉 That sweet and tangy combination of strawberries and sour cream looks just absolutely scrumptious! I NEED to try this out sometime! 😀

I love making pies, somehow I don't find them hard to make, and the whole process is therapeutical to me lol! Yours sounds really good, love the strawberry sour cream flavor, as a child I used to eat strawberries crushed with sour cream and sugar, so good!

I made the pie as direct d . I am wondering what the consistency is supposed to be like. Mine tastes good but is a creamy (maybe like banana cream pie)
Is that the way it should be? Should it be served warm it cold.?
It is good but unusual. Certainly easy to make!
