Another oatmeal recipe?
I know, I know. There is enough oatmeal recipes out there in the blogosphere. But I checked, and I don’t think there is enough turmeric oatmeal recipes.
Turmeric oatmeal recipes that are vegan, gluten free and ready in under 10 minutes. Yeah, I hope I got your attention because this is just too dang good not to share.
How do you like your oatmeal?
I know there are a lot of people out there who will say that they don’t like oatmeal. And that’s fine. I was there too not too long ago. But from one (former) oatmeal hater to another, you gotta give it another try. You just gotta. And I am on a mission to show you just how I liven up my oatmeal recipes.
Now on the menu: a new (to me) spice: turmeric.
Apart from its gorgeous colour, turmeric has many health benefits including its anti-inflammatory properties. Looking around my local health foods stores, it seems like turmeric is becoming a new star in the healthy food sphere.
Since summer is all about becoming healthier.. I think that this oatmeal is suitable. I was going to save this until the fall.. but I just couldn’t wait. You need to try this!
Another reason I love oatmeal so much is that it is so quick and easy to make. I can have it ready almost in the time it takes me to get dressed.
To me, that is some all-star multitasking right there. Not that I really need to get dressed these days. The life of a teacher in the summer is all pjs and Netflix.
But for me, I always include my daily oatmeal. And with something as healthy as this turmeric oatmeal, I think that it negates all the sitting around I have been doing lately. Right?

Emma - Bake Then Eat
Oh I love this, I am all about fruits, nuts and all that jazz in my oatmeal. My other half is a true Scotsman and he looks on in horror at me because he is all about water and salt…… I shudder at the thought. I am typically English he claims when it comes to oatmeal…lol. I just like things on the sweet side.
