Halloween Baked Vampire Doughnuts recipe. Super quick and easy to make, this is so much fun for kids and adults alike.
It’s October!! This means we get to Halloween everything and plan our costumes without judgement. Who is with me? That, or just make all of my food look absolutely terrifying so that I will be the only one eating it.
Unless you would like to take a bite out of my Vampire Doughnuts? Do it before they take a bite out of you. It’s a bloody good treat, I assure you.
I bought gummy fangs for the sole purpose of making these!! As soon as I saw gummy fangs in the grocery store, I had a vision of what my next Halloween treat will be. But trust me, the image in my head looked a lot better than this.
These Vampire Doughnuts don’t really look much like vampires. Maybe just a little bit. Probably because my art skills are not as advanced as my daydreaming skills. But they were delicious donuts anyways, and that is all that really matters. That just makes them an even more perfect addition to Halloween parties. Your dessert table won’t be complete without the spooky touch these donuts give.

Tips and Tricks
Don’t have a muffin pan? No worries! No need to make the donuts from scratch, store-bought doughnuts work well here too! Or try the original Krispy Kreme donuts. You really can’t go wrong when there are Krispy Kreme donuts involved.
Donut Variation Ideas: The best part about these donuts is how versatile it is to make. You can make the actual vampire face in whatever variety of donuts that you like. Pumpkin donuts would be a great way to incorporate the fall flavors into this fun Halloween snack. Or you could use chocolate donuts, but you would need to make sure that the hair is another color so as not to blend in with the donut.
Spooky touches: Adding some red gel or red icing just below the gummy teeth would give these Vampire donuts a spooky Halloween feel. Also, if you can’t find gummy vampire teeth, some dollar store plastic vampire teeth would work well here too.
