Easy Vanilla Matcha Chai Latte recipe. This healthy warm comforting drink idea is vegan and gluten free, perfect on a cold day.
How much tea can I pack into one drink? That’s the real question here.
With this Vanilla Matcha Chai Latte, you get both matcha powder and some chai tea. You know, for those days where you can’t decide.
Can you tell that my tea cupboard is overflowing?
What do you need to make this Vanilla Matcha Chai Latte?
This drink is so easy to make! All you need is:
- vanilla chai teabags
- matcha powder
- milk of choice (I used coconut milk from a carton)
- stevia
- cinnamon
That’s it!
I know that making warm drinks on these hot summer days won’t be the most popular thing right now, but after travelling to Utah and Arizona these past couple of weeks, Chicago weather is seeming pretty cold.
So I’m warming up with this tea packed with caffeine.
I know I’m a teacher so I don’t need to do much over the summer. But I still want to get blog stuff and other projects done. Some exciting things are happening in the future!
If you wanted a colder matcha drink to make over the summer, might I suggest my Iced Matcha Latte. It is one of my go-to recipes on hot days.
But for now while it’s still cool, I will be making this hot and comforting jam-packed matcha drink.
