Boil salted water in a medium saucepan. Add in the gnocchi and cook until the gnocchi rises to the surface. Drain and set aside.
Preheat the oven to 350˚F.
Spread 1/2 of the pasta sauce in the bottom of an 8 inch square pan. Spread the cooked gnocchi evenly on top, then top with the remaining pasta sauce.
Sprinkle with the mozzarella cheese and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
