The weekend is fast approaching, which means beach days, flip flops and all of the ice cream.
If you are following me over on Instagram, I just made an ice cream cake for my boyfriend’s birthday. Which was our second dessert of the night after the huge bowl of complimentary shaved ice that we got at the sushi restaurant we went to. You would think I would be sick of cold desserts right now.
Except that I am seriously considering eating the ice cream cake breakfast as well..
But for real, if you want a cold treat for breakfast, I would suggest that you try these yogurt popsicles instead.
Basically health food, these popsicles are ready in no time at all. This is honestly a cheat post that shouldn’t even count as a recipe. I am just giving you the idea because it took me this long to think of doing this. And maybe there are a few of you who have never thought of it either.
I used two different kinds of yogurt, but you can use however many you like. Layer it with all the colours of the rainbow if you can find them.
Actually, that would be so cool, I kind of wish I thought of that before so I could try it out..
You can use whatever kind of yogurt you want as well, but I have had better results with ones with higher fat content. Try Greek yogurt for a breakfast that packs on some protein, or if you want a lower calorie breakfast (or dessert!), use your favourite low cal yogurt. The possibilities are endless!
